Premier have announced that Chris White has decided to step down as the fund manager of the Premier Income Fund, Premier Monthly Income Fund and as co-manager of the Premier Optimum Income Fund at the end of April 2020.
The new fund manager for these funds will be Eric Moore, who has managed the FP Miton Income Fund since 2014.
Premier Miton said the funds will not change and will 'continue to look to deliver good and growing dividends', while the Premier Optimum Income fund will retain its 7% target yield per annum.
Neil Birrell, chief investment officer at Premier Miton, said:
"I would like to thank Chris White for all his hard work in his role with us as manager of UK equity income funds. Chris has already had a long and distinguished investment career and he leaves with our very best wishes for his future roles.
"Eric is a highly experienced fund manager with a very strong track record for delivering good and growing dividends from an actively managed UK equity income portfolio and we look forward to him continuing to deliver good outcomes for investors in these funds."
