How to add, edit and delete holdings

To add a holding

To add a holding to your portfolio, simply follow the steps below:

  1. Click on the 'Add holding' button
  2. Choose an 'Asset type' i.e. Fund
  3. Choose a 'Fund Manager' i.e. Invesco Perpetual
  4. Choose a 'Fund Manager Fund' i.e. High Income
  5. Select the amount of 'Units' held (this can be found on your contract note or valuation statement)
  6. Choose the 'Product Type' i.e. ISA
  7. Choose a 'Plan Manager' i.e. Invesco Perpetual (if invested directly) or Aegon/Fidelity FundsNetwork (if invested via a platform/fund supermarket)
  8. Click 'Add Fund' if you are happy that the information is correct or 'Reset' to clear your choices and start again

To edit or delete a holding

To edit a holding in your portfolio, simply follow the steps below:

  1. Click on the spanner icon relating to the fund you wish to edit or delete
  2. Change the 'Plan Manager' if:
    • The holding was held directly with the fund manager, but has been transfered to a platform/fund supermarket i.e. Aegon or Fidelity FundsNetwork
    • The holding was held via a platform/fund supermarket, but has been transfered to a different platform/fund supermarket i.e. Fidelity FundsNetwork to Aegon
  3. Change the 'Product Type' i.e. Unit Trust to ISA
  4. Update the amount of 'Units' held
  5. Click 'Update' if you are happy that the information is correct and to confirm the changes
  6. Click 'Delete Holding' if the holding has been sold, merged or renamed (this will have to be re-added) or if you simply want to remove the holding from your consolidated valuation
