BNY Fund Mergers

On 20th June 2020, BNY Mellon have merged the following funds:

  • BNY Mellon Emerging Income fund has merged with BNY Mellon Asian Income fund.
  • BNY Mellon Oriental fund has merged with BNY Mellon Global Emerging Markets fund.

The decision to merge these funds was made with the aim to reduce costs and enhance performance. All costs relating to the merger will be borne by the Authorised Corporate Director (ACD).

In the case of the BNY Mellon Oriental fund, if you hold this fund on a platform and have set your preferences to reinvest income, any income will be placed into your cash account where you can choose to switch it into a fund or withdraw it. Any future income will be distributed in line with the preferences you select on the merged fund.
