Which investments will incur our ongoing service fees?
Our ongoing service fees are payable on all third party platform investments (such as those held with Aegon and Fidelity FundsNetwork) where (i) we are the servicing agent and (ii) on which no commission is payable. Our ongoing service fees are also charged on any commission-free investments held directly with the fund managers (off platform) where we are the servicing agent.
How much will you pay?
Our ongoing service fee for investments held via a platform is a competitive 0.35% of the value of your investments.
On commission-free investments held directly with the fund managers, our ongoing service fee is 0.4%, with the exception of Invesco's facilitated intermediary fee arrangement for which our charge is 0.04% per month (equivalent to 0.48% per annum). If using this arrangement to pay our ongoing service fee on your direct Invesco holdings, they (Invesco) will deduct from your investment 0.04% of its value each month by way of unit cancellation.
Investing through a platform ensures that you do not pay any initial charges on your funds. When you invest directly with a fund manager, initial charges may still apply.
Our service charges are in addition to fund manager annual management fees and the platform providers' own service fees. Please see the tables below showing a breakdown of the charges you'll pay when you invest through us via Fidelity FundsNetwork and Aegon.

Fee collection
FundsNetwork
The Fidelity FundsNetwork and Elson annual service fees are payable by unit deduction each month. If you would prefer to fund your charges with cash, you can set up a Cash Management Account with Fidelity for this purpose. Please contact us and we will be happy to help you.
Aegon
The Aegon and Elson annual service fees are payable by unit deduction each month. If you don't want Aegon to sell units/shares to pay the service fees, you need to make sure that you keep enough money in your General Investment Account (GIA) to cover them. If you would like more information on adding funds to your GIA, please contact us and we will be happy to help you.
Funds held directly with the fund managers
We collect our ongoing service fee on your directly held commission-free investments by direct debit from your nominated bank account every six months (in February and August). You will be sent a breakdown of the charges we have levied prior to collection. We do not charge an initial fee for arranging commission-free funds.
Other investments
As an execution-only provider, we are still able to re-invest and receive balance commissions on some products but for those that do not pay commission, we will charge the following one-off fees:
- With Profits bonds - 1%
- Investment bonds - 1%
- VCTs - 1%
